Hello, I'm Kevin, I've come to know the joy of surrendering my life to the Lord Jesus Christ who broke my chains of bondage to a severe drug addiction which ruled my life for 15 years. Attempting to piece my broken life together I tried several secular treatment centers, to no avail. It wasn't until I cried out to God in my brokeness that I would find peace. The Lord led me to a Christ centered program which stood on the principle that all Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work (2 Timothy 3:16-17). After graduating from The Mission House I have never looked back, instead I've fixed my eyes on Jesus.

Shortly after the program I met my wife Stephanie who had been through a similiar program for women in Eastern Washington called The Father's Ranch.  She also has experienced brokeness and the blessing of a life transformed by the power and grace of God and has a passion for hurting people.

Since my time as a resident at the Mission House I spent a year and a half serving as the Associate Director of the program, during which time I pursued training as a biblical counselor through the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC).  I have since completed the training and I am now certified with ACBC as well as the International Association of Biblical Counselors (IABC). I am also Commissioned as a biblical addictions counselor through The Addiction Connection (TAC), an organization that strongly supports counseling using the inerrant Word of God for all areas of life especially when dealing with addiction.

The Lord has put a calling on my heart to share these same biblical principles to other lost and suffering men. I must share the hope and joy that comes with a personal relationship with Christ. I am no longer a drug addict , I am a child of the living God. The Damascus House represents the choice to deny yourself, take up your cross daily, and follow Jesus (Luke 9:23). I have come to the understanding that living by the  word of God is the only thing that brings about change. It is my hope that, by the grace of God, you will come to that understanding as well. My wife Stephanie and I are committed to sharing the love of Jesus with you through this life changing journey. May God richly bless you.
